New a User-friendly website

Goricko Nature Park website and its subpage of the Gorička krajina project is just one of the ways to inform the residents of the park and general public on contents on nature and project activities with an aim to increase awareness about nature conservation and preservation of the cultural landscape.
Existing website was upgraded as a part of the Gorička Krajina project in order to widen the users accessibility. Website was upgraded with the option of adjusting the look of the website in five contrasting formats for the visually impaired users, with the ability to show or hide more complex contents with the option of “Read More” and with enablement of the option to embed video and audio contents.

Website adaptation for the visually impaired
Goricko Nature Park website with its project subpage allows visually impaired users to follow the contents in a more user-friendly way. Users can choose from five content display options – in five contrasting combinations. By clicking on the eye-shaped icon in the top right corner of the front page users can access the options.

Extended contents now more user-friendlier

The option to hide the text in an individual article gives readers the choice of reading shorter or longer content. The “Read More” sections offer additional explanations and scientists records for more demanding readers.

Users will see more information related to the published content by clicking on the Read more option. We are passionate about our work and want to share detailed information with the readers, therefore the articles are sometimes too extensive. With the option to hide such detailed parts of the text, articles are more user-friendly to general public.
