Bat exhibition opened in the autumn holidays

During the autumn holidays we held two doors open days at the first permanent exhibition on bats in the former school in Kančevci. The doors of the exhibition were opened to all visitors on Wednesday, October 31st, and on Saturday, November 2nd, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On both days, the exhibition was visited by about 100 visitors, mostly families from different parts of Slovenia and also abroad who spent their holidays nearby or did a day-trip to Goričko. Visitors were amazed at the mysterious and remarkable life of bats. Most visitors have already encountered bats, with the youngest visitors being by far the most enthusiastic about them. Some even confided in us that they would be happy to take some home with them.

Just before the holidays, a group of students of ethnology and cultural anthropology from the University of Ljubljana visited the exhibition.
