Gorička krajina on international fair in Gornja Radgona
AGRA International Agriculture & Food Fair in Gornja Radgona is among the largest agricultural fairs in this part of Europe. Between 24 and 29th August 2019 Gorička krajina projekt was also presented on the fair. As part of the project we presented our work in the mosaic cultural landscape in Goričko to visitors and presented project activities. Visitors of the stand were especially interested in nature conservation, biodiversity of flowering meadows. Because of the approaching autumn, we also emphasized the importance of high-trunk orchards. Bird lovers were interested in information about the Scops owl and hoopoe.
We also informed them about the upcoming events at Grad Castle and the project activities that we will be carried out this autumn, and invited them to participate. We also informed landowners from Goričko about the possibility of their inclusion in various conservation activities within the project.
