Bat exhibition is becoming increasingly popular
On 27 August, 44 children from Montesorri Camp, hosted by the Capuchin brothers in Kančevci, visited the first exhibition on bats in Kančevci. Children from the Montesorri kindergarten and the Montesorri school had with the helf of a guide from the Nature park Goričko Public Institute learned about the interesting life of bats. The scheduled one-hour tour of the exhibit stretched to two and a half hours as the children had a numerous questions about the bats. Why do bats fly at night? How do they mate while hanging down? Where do they fly in winter?
