The beauty of meadow everyday will be caught on camera
In the spring of 2020 we started with the filming of five short videos about the Gorička krajina project target habitats and target species. Short videos will include the presentation of the biodiversity of the Natura 2000 Goričko area with an emphasis on the presentation of target meadow habitats and species. The company Kawka production, Gregor Šubic s.p., was selected through a public tender.
In five short clips all three target meadow habitat types, three target species of bats and butterflies, and both species of beetles and birds will be presented. The main aim to present the interesting facts from species everyday life and the ecological requirements for their long-term protection. Because all aspect of species biology and ecology is important, the filming started in early May.
We continued to filming during the summer as well, as some of the species are at their peak of activity and occurrence during summer days. The draft clips will be prepared in the autumn of 2020, while the the final version is scheduled to be released in summer 2021.
