Woodlark is still singing in Goričko
Woodlark is typical farmland bird which is much easier to hear than to see. On June 14th the 5th ornithological excursion was carried out in Fokovci by Gregor Domanjko from Goričko Nature park Public Institute. Fokovci are among most diverse and interesting places for birds. Scops owl, hoopoe and woodlark can be heard in Fokovci with a little bit of luck. During the excursion 26 participants heard or saw woodlark, hoopoe, red-backed shrike and yellowhammer.
