We warmly invite you to spend the first Saturday of October at Grad Castle in Goričko and experience the authentic atmosphere of this unique region. Once again, Gorički den offers a diverse programme for all generations – from traditional crafts and regional cuisine to music, folk dances, workshops and nature experiences.
Stroll through the market featuring local producers and artisans, savour traditional Goričko specialties such as Dödoli, Langaš, Bograč, Retaš, Posolanka and Biba (also known as Idinjača). Younger visitors can enjoy theatre performances, creative workshops and a variety of fun skill-based activities.
The event will be enriched by cultural performances, traditional Goričko dances and comedy sketches, a guided tour of the castle, archery, and a musical performance by Gašper Marič from Aktual Music School.

NOTICE ON TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION DURING THE EVENT GORIČKI DEN
On Saturday, October 3, 2026, during the public event Gorički den, between 10:00 and 17:00, there will be a partial closure of the municipal road LC 197200, section 197201 Križarka – Grad, with one-way traffic in the direction Grad – Vidonci, from house no. Grad 200 to the cemetery in Vidonci.
For the safety of participants during the event, parking will be arranged on the left side of the road in the direction of Vidonci within the partially closed section. On the right side of the road, traffic will flow one-way in accordance with traffic regulations. For all motor vehicles (tractors and combine harvesters), the detour will run along the following municipal roads: LC 197181 Vidonci (Žuškašov breg) and LC 197101 Vidonci – Radovci, as well as the state road R3 - 716/5637. The detour does not apply to buses and goods vehicles over 3.5 t permissible weight.
At the partially closed section, security staff will be present to physically direct all vehicles.
We kindly ask all traffic participants to follow traffic signs, and to act with patience and understanding.
